Coaching with

Alex

We've got stories to tell, and life to balance.

If you're looking for someone who "gets" it - look no further... I have chapters to record, dishes to wash, kids to pickup, errands to run, a business to run, reach outs to send, a website to maintain and on and on... You're in the thick of it - and I'm right there by your side.

I'm focused on growth - not comparison, and joy - not judgement.

If you're not laughing, you're not learning!

I particularly enjoy working with folks with ADHD, working parents, my anxiety ridden peeps, and those who need a little reminder of how awesome they are.

Book now and let's get it wrong until we get it right.

Coaching

Two narrators, one coach! Bring your accountability buddy or narrator bestie and tackle something together! Dive into a new genre, samples, performance, confidence, ways to help each other be accountable and anything else you can think up!

If you're anything like me - you've got that group of people you lean on and look to for advice. What better way to learn and grow together, then to have a coaching session dedicated to BOTH of you!

One on One Coaching

One narrator, one coach!

Let's tackle some work together. Samples, habits you want to break, pacing, leveling up, performance, and tackling your work with confidence so you can reach that FLOW state.

The Format

I offer a complimentary fifteen minute "Let's see if this is gunna work" meet up to talk about your goals and see if we're a good fit.

Coaching is in half hour and hour long blocks.

I have over 160 titles from publishers like Penguin Random House, Macmillan, Harper, Sourcebooks, Brilliance, Blackstone, Podium, Tantor and others and over 20 years experience in theatre education and coaching actors of all ages.

As a former college theatre professor I taught all levels of acting, play analysis, and stage management and directed many productions. I was the Education Director of a small theatre in Boston for a time and also acted professionally in and around the Boston area. I've even run a theatre workshop in a prison! I have a BA in Education and an MFA in Acting from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign where I studied at the Krannert Center.

I pride myself in knowing how to speak the language of every student and client I come across so we can always find our way to the goals you're seeking.

The
Experience
“Alex offers advice without needing to control the outcome. She creates a space that feels like an invitation to explore, trust my instincts, and discover something truthful for myself. Even when challenging me, she is respectful, encouraging and genuine. I don’t leave coaching sessions with Alex feeling like I have to “get it right” but instead feeling more curious, more confident and more willing to take risks. I am grateful for the snark, the quick wit, the warmth, the knowing, the laughter, the calm and the guidance.”
