As an award winning stage actor with an MFA in acting Alex has a range of characters at her disposal and excels at making nuanced and detailed changes to any feedback or notes.

As a former college theatre professor (once awarded Faculty Member of the Year) her depth of knowledge and expertise lend an accessible and engaging yet authoritative voice of experience or that connected sound of heart and humor and understanding.

 

When she’s not in the booth she enjoys taking to the skies with her pilot husband (the real Captain Picard), hanging out with her kiddos, losing games of Catan, and figuring out what's for dinner (actually, she doesn't enjoy that last one at all). Alex is a terrible cook, not much of a housekeeper, once ran a marathon in a pandemic, works really hard to keep plants alive, and despite her enjoyment of all things dark and twisty, has an unnatural fear of paper cuts.
